Going into production!
The feature screenplay is done, and working very well, thanks to much help and feedback from Pierre, Bart Coughlin, Ken Fountain, and Ares Deveaux.
It only took me a couple hundred drafts to figure it out!
Ok, I may be a slow learner, but it was worth it. We had it reviewed and got some pretty great scores from ReelAuthors.com!
So now we've got a clear plan: Get this movie made!
But how? With investors.
How to convince them?
With a product.
So from the feature screenplay, I've adapted a short, and found a way to produce it, thanks to Jason Ryan!
Jason has graciously offered to team up, allowing me to recruit animators through his animation school, iAnimate.net. In exchange for working on the short, students will get valuable production experience, and a shot at working on the feature (if we can get it off the ground). iAnimate is covering the costs for the Lucy and Scarecrow rigs, in exchange for the ability to use the characters at the school.
Onwards and Upwards!

Pierre Perifel's character studies
Enter Pierre Perifel. He can do it all. REALLY WELL. He's diving into the project head first! I am so lucky to have a talent like him onboard with these ideas. Pierre oozes cool ideas.
I really want a character design sensibility for this thing in the spirit of Jamie Hewlett's Gorillaz stuff and Pierre's into it.
